Sunday was the mind blowing Halloween cross crusade race at the Flying M Ranch. Through the sleepy haze of racing and drinking I seem to recall:
- George Hincapie racing his Paris Roubaix rig as a singlespeed.
- 116 women racers!
- Man cameltoe, everywhere.
- Nekkidness.
- Chris King making pancakes.
- Northwest steel in style: Sacha (Vanilla), Tony (Pereira), Ira (Ryan).
- A wall of noise and cheering.
- The sickest coffin barrier bunnyhop, ever.
- Vanilla domination.

I was talking to a freind (Caldwell) yesterday telling him about cross and he said something along the lines of, “cross, right, that’s that not really a big deal, just something you toy around with inbetween seasons right? People don’t specialize in cross do they?”
Some people just don’t get it.
